I can’t recommend Carmilla Jo enough. Not only does she have a remarkable eye for photography, but her experience as a professional cosplayer is unmatched. She did a mochi themed shoot for my sophomore novel, LOVE MAKES MOCHI. Not only did she choose the perfect location to shoot from, but her poses, angles, lighting—everything encapsulated the goth yet cutsie vibe I had hoped for. She truly puts so much love, thought, and passion into her work and you can tell when she delivers her album just how much talent and creativity went into every step of the shoot. On the business end of everything, Carmilla Jo is perfectly communicative and responds quickly. She’s open to ideas and suggestions and finds a way to incorporate your ideas while maintaining her unique and insightful touch. She’s very much a go-getter—if she sees something that can be done, she’ll do it. I could not have asked for a better way to celebrate the launch of LOVE MAKES MOCHI and I’m eager to have her cosplay for my next book!
